General Information About Lapa Roja Tour
Once
you´re dropped off at the Macaw Recovery Network, a reserve located in Punta
Islita, your guide will warmly greet you and tell you all about the Macaw
conservation project that you´re about to immerse yourself in. Your tour guide
will take you through the trails as you watch the released wild flock of
Scarlet Macaws go about their days flying and playing on the treetops. Explore
the breeding center, which supports injured and rescued macaws, ensuring their
survival. This immersive experience offers unforgettable wildlife encounters
while supporting vital conservation efforts. Over 50 macaws are released in
the area and by joining this tour you are contributing to the efforts of
protecting this endangered species. Finally board your transportation back to
your hotel!
